About

Rebecca is a West Virginia native, yoga enthusiast, and animal lover. She finds her best teachers in life come to her in the form of children, animals, and of course yoga. Fueled by a passion to make yoga visible and encourage charitable giving of resources, she created "Pawsitive Yogi" as a karma yoga project to combine her two callings in life. If interested in her yoga journey, you can read more about her education at the link below.

Rebecca is joined by 6-year-old good boy, Oscar. As a rescue, Oscar spent over 4 years of his life in the Yongin Pound in South Korea where over 350 dogs are housed. His resilience and passion for adventure inspires Rebecca every morning as his smiling face wakes her up.

What I know to be true,

The hardest part of yoga is the showing up.

Back in 2015, I didn't want to go to that first yoga class. My friend begged me for close to a month before I reluctantly joined her.

Fast-forward to having to rejoin practice after illness, surgery, and just life in general leading me away; and I'll tell you that while it never gets easier, I've also never regretted writing the next chapter of myself with a yoga practice.

By committing to the version of you that you want to become in the present moment, it gives yourself a chance to actually get there. Be sure to register in advance to secure your spot.

All levels are welcome, but self-limiting thoughts are not. For everyone's best interest, I ask you to please leave any lingering self-negativity in the garbage receptacle outside prior to class. Thank you! ; )
